Mary M. Mossing’s career in YMCA operations spans more than 20 years beginning when she was a Peace Corp volunteer assigned to the Concepcion, Chile YMCA. Since then, she has served with the YMCA of Cincinnati, the YMCA of Greater Saint Louis, the YMCA of Middle Tennessee and the YMCA of Collier County in Naples, Florida.

Mary has extensive experience in YMCA operations, including responsibilities as Branch Executive Director, Group Vice President of Operations and most recently Chief Executive Officer. Her experience encompasses successful financial development, including annual giving campaigns, building endowments and capital campaigns. She has built new YMCAs, modernized old ones and turned around troubled YMCAs. She has also been successful creating effective, realistic strategic plans and developing productive staff to implement those plans.

Mary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Miami University of Ohio and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati. Mary is fluent in Spanish. She is married to Frank Lanson and enjoys golf, running and playing the piano.
