Project Overview

Beginning in 2023, Triangle2 began project work with a group of partners in northwest Indiana that had a dream of building a multi-faceted Community Center in Gary, a community in which there is great need for programs for youth, families, and older adults. In this case, partners included the City of Gary, a large local foundation, the Boys & Girls Club, Methodist Hospitals, and the Crossroads YMCA.

Triangle2’s work in support of this unique and ambitious partnership to bring “together trusted community partners under one roof” began with needs assessments and market research, but it did notend there. A member of the T2 team was called upon to facilitate the meetings and group discussions that brought funders, public officials, and community organizations to the table and kept them thereuntil a plan was hatched and agreed to for the betterment of the community. Since seeing is believing,T2 also helped to envision the project with conceptual facility design and construction budget estimating.

Triangle2’s consulting role in this project included:
